The Major League Soccer summer transfer window opens in just two days (July 24th), but some teams have already made moves well before the upcoming window. One of those teams is St. Louis City SC, Which Has signed a young Senegalese center-back and a Young left-back from the Second Team. The team is also traded for a South Korean Striker, and another Left Back on loan. Let's unpack it.
Fallou Fall (CB)
Fallou Fall is a 21-year-old Senegalese Center Back born in Rufisque.
Fall signed a contract that included a $4 million transfer fee.
Fallou played 10 matches with his Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK, all at Center Back.
SangBin Jeong (Forward)
SangBin is a 23-year-old Korean Forward born in Cheonan, Chungnam.
SangBin, who formerly played for Minnesota United, was traded in exchange for $1.6 million.
SangBin Jeong played 15 matches with Minnesota, all as a Forward.
Jaziel Orozco (LB/CB)
Jaziel is a 21-year-old Mexican Defender born in Ciudad Juárez
Jaziel, who played for St. Louis City 2, was signed for a possible 4 years.
Jaziel played 18 matches with the second team before the contract.
Devin Padelford (LB)
Devin is a 22-year-old American Left Back born in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Devin, who played for Minnesota United and Minnesota United 2, was acquired via trade, in which City SC sent their 2026 third-round SuperDraft pick in exchange for Devin.
Devin played 4 matches with the first team, and 6 matches with the second team in Minnesota before the trade.
Trade acquisitions SangBin Jeong and Devin Padelford both trained with the club for the first time today (7/22/25). Fallou Fall is still in Senegal, reportedly sorting out his immigration status in his home country.
All of these players are under the age of 24. All are promising prospects. And all will be at Energizer Park this season.
